The kingdom of Fanes

The Prince of Landrins met the young Moltina during a hunting trip, fell in love with her and married shortly thereafter in his castle. Since Moltina preferred to live in the mountains, attracted to the Fanes hut, where a peace-loving people lived. But they expected a major threat by the neighboring villages and was feared of that. The prince will teach them to fight and so he became their king. They built a castle at the submontane "sas dles Diesc" summit with a white marmot over the gate as a sign of the alliance with the marmots. The kingdom of Fanes was big and powerful and the people enjoyed many decades of peace.
